Polaris Nerf Bar Question
We are looking at the 2 types of nerf bars that Polaris offers and I am asking for opinions on both styles ( sliders and the standard). I have read that the sliders get hung up on rocks but we do not do much rock climbing. We ride mostly wooded trails and are always in the mud.
Which ones would offer the best protection for our type of riding?
Thanks for any opinions.

Re: Polaris Nerf Bar Question
The sliders are still better for protection. I just dont like the thought of less ground clearance than the machine allready has. You would be better off to look at a good skid plate. I'm sure you will get some more thought on this.

Re: Polaris Nerf Bar Question
I have the rock sliders and so far they have worked great. I been on some pretty rocky trails and haven't had them to hang up yet. They do have a few dents in them but thats part of it. I also don't see the loss in ground clearance they are right even with the center skid pan so its still going to bottom out on it at the same time.

I have them and agree with you. Yes mine have dents and scratches, knowing they are there I put less effort into dodging obstacles.

Re: Polaris Nerf Bar Question
I have them also, they widen the RZR out a lot but if you are running 4" offset wheels on the rear, they are the same width, The sliders have saved the bottom of the plastic several times.

Re: Polaris Nerf Bar Question
I have the sliders, they offer good protection but they get packed up with mud big time.
