woops...
Yes, the vent comes with a template and rivets (most people replace them with screws)
no worries, just misunderstood what he was asking.

Re: Trail Armor bumper & A-Arm guards
I also have the trail armor bumper. Looks nice and real solid but a bitch to install.
You need to remove the roller fairlead and fairlead mounting bracket. The upper mounting bracket on the bumper does not fit between the frame tubes flush against the plate that the fairlead mounting bracket bolts to. Therefore I had to use smaller diameter and longer bolts than those supplied with the bumper. The lower mounting bracket mounts to the skid plate under the front diff. Like me, if you don't want the bolt thread protruding down and exposed under the skid plate and instead run the bolt up from the underside you will have a hell of a time squeezing a wrench in between the diff and skid plate to hold the nut. It took me longer to install this bumper than my wheels, rear bumper, windshield, gas can, nerf bars and roof combined.
That said. I am happy with the bumper.

Re: Trail Armor bumper & A-Arm guards
So...any update in regards to if this bumper is a "shit shoveler"?
Need a bumper...like the price and looks solid.
Mounting issues....is the UTV Crap or Holtz mounted much differently?
Thanks!

I hear this concern a lot and it is a valid point. However, I have yet to read a post on this or other forums where someone has had this happen to them.
I'm also taking into account that we are talking about a mild to moderate impact with something and not a front end collision with an immovable object or another vehicle at full speed. Frame mounted or not, in a serious crash the entire vehicle and it's occupants will probably suffer some damage regardless of how the bumper is mounted.
I'm just curious if the concern over the factory mount points damaging the radiator is really a valid concern. I'm guessing that if it happened all the time there would be more threads complaining about it.

It is a valid concern, it does not take much of a hit to damage the radiator using the Polaris "brush guard" not bumper.

Are you speaking from first hand experience or just repeating what others have voiced in the forums? Again, I think it is a valid concern but I have not read anything to indicate that this is actually happening on a regular basis.

In both cases, the only thing that happened was the fins were crinkled, the radiator was undamaged and was still functional.
What I am waiting to hear is if this guy who recently flipped his RZR over had any damage. The pictures clearly show his RZR on its front bumper in a vertical position, impacting the ground. If his radiator wasn't damaged by the bumper mounts then I'd venture to say it's not as big of a concern as some make it out to be. In this case I would honestly expect that there might be damage. The whole thread on this can be found HERE.

Re: Trail Armor bumper & A-Arm guards
my fins are damaged on mine on the driver side. it was caused by the bumper being pushed upwards from hitting a rock. it bent the front of the skid plate on the bumper up which shifted the whole bumper upwards. radiator is fine other than the crushed row of fins on one side. no leaks so i'm not worried much about it, it can't be pushed up any farther,
