That's a sweet looking setup! I'd be concerned about weight and I'm convinced UHMW is superior to aluminum as skid plate material. We're working on uhmw a-arm guards as well.

Re: Holz skid plate
I'm sold on the plastic in the center as well, it's the only way to go as far as aI'm concerned.
I was just refering to the angled plated before the frame at left and right sides behind he tires.
Man, there's just NO pleasing all of us is there? LOL

Re: Factory UTV Skids
Do you have a price for the a-arm guards yet? I want both the skid plate and a-arm guards. Does it come with the mounting hardware?

Our skids come with all required hardware to supplement stock hardware for complete installation. A-arm guards will come with all required hardware for installation. Sorry, no price on A-arm guards yet, need to calculate time and materials once design is finalized...

Factory UTV
I have been looking at your Skid Plate.
Nice looking, I've been on the Rubicon Trail numerous times.
Stock skid plate doesn't get it.
Was on a group ride with several other RZR'S along with some ATV's.
One of the guys mentioned your skid plates.
Just what I need. I was wondering if a person can get them where they go past the sides by 1 1/2" .
I'll be making my own side protection that would tie into your skid plate.
I live in Pollock Pines just up the road from you, I could even pick up the skid plate from you or ship to me.
Let me know if you can extend the skid like I asked.
Thanks Tim

Our skids are 46 inches wide now and we can go 48 inches total or an inch on each side wider. Been doin the Rubicon myself for many years! One of the best features of UHMW is that it is super slick and slides over rocks really nicely. One of it's main advantages over aluminum along with weight savings and memory, meaning it can give a little and return to original shape where aluminum just bends, gouges or breaks. As far as shipping goes either way is OK with us, probably save yourself some money picking it up though...

Nope, sorry, we've been consumed with finishing the project RZR. Our doors are going to be super nice by the way We've designed the A-Arm gaurds and we'll test the prototypes Memorial Day weekend. If all goes good we'll roll them out then...
