DG "the edge" bumper w/lights??? Anyone???

Just wanted to check and see if anyone has the DG edge bumper on their rzr?!?! I have been looking around at bumpers and kind of like the way the edge looks. I already have ordered two of the 4" kragen/checker hid lights, so fit on some of the bumpers is out due to the larger size of the lights compared to others. So does anyone have any pics of the dg on theirs and any with lights? Thanks fellas!!!

Thanks for the reply heliandrew, I like the way your bumper looks. Youre right, it is very similar to the DG bumper I am interested in. Im just curious what size the hoop is on the DG. I found another post of yours talking about tmwoffroad bumpers, so I checked it out. Looks good man!!!

Re: DG "the edge" bumper w/lights??? Anyone???

yeah, there's lots of bumpers out there but most of them look like SHIT. yet for some reason some guys love them. i guess it just depends on your style. some guys get those huge bulky emp bumpers. not for me. i like the sexy look of mine. it was expensive. but IMO it is by far the best looking bumper. however. dont forget, if you get a bumper that mounts to the radiator mount. you NEED the thunderhawk radiator reenforcement. its only like 90 bucks or so which may seem like alot of extra money, but it doesnt take much of a bump on that bumper to smash in your whole radiator and thats going to set you back alot more!

Yep, I agree with you man. Those emp bumpers are ugly bastards, but to each their own. Its kind of a catch 22 because you can drop 200 to 400 on a bumper and then buy the reinforcement, or just bite the bullet and buy the 500 bumper that has the rigid mount. So, not really sure which way to go, I tend to be indecisive as hell, so we will see. Thanks for the input man!!!

well the nice thing is that your not limited to only a rigid mount bumper. before with the one that mounts to the radiator, you were screwed, but now with that reenforcement, you can't go wrong either way, so my advice is find a bumper that you like the most and get that one.

oh, one thing i heard but not confirmed is the ones that mount rigidly to the frame is that if you hit something hard enough, you could possibly bend the frame. but don't quote me on that.

I read about that too. Hopefully I won't be doing anything crazy enough for that, but ya never know. I dont race or anything like that, but I do quite a bit of rock crawling. The biggest concern I have is with the clearance dropping off of something. Without a bumper, it can get close to dragging ground dropping off rocks and what not. I doubt I will get a rigid mount, but I will definitely get the reinforcement bracket, paint it black like you did so it cant be seen.

yeah, i dont do anything crazy either. ok, well i never plan on doing anything crazy. i didnt get the bumper so i can ram stuff. i got it cause it looked sick and i needed a place to mount those hid lights. but you never know when you mite run into somthing, or drop into a ditch nose first and then you'll be glad you have the bumper. keep me posted. let me know what you get and post some pics!
