OEM Glass windscreen; Anyone have one
Anyone have/use the glass OEM windscreen?
Just wondering if its worth the money, I have the OEM full plastic windscreen but of course the glass would be less likely to scratch plus it would be easier to clean in the field.
Thanks
Jimmy

Re: OEM Glass windscreen; Anyone have one
I just installed the OEM glass windshield last night. The only comment that I think will surface is that you have slightly less visibility than with the plexiglass one because of the metal frame around the glass. Other than that I have nothing bad to say about it. I'm in the thick woods on tight trails all of the time so I knew that plexi would not last half a hunting season for me so I'm willing to give up a little visibility for a scratch free view. I will be installing the wiper kit for it this evening.

Re: OEM Glass windscreen; Anyone have one
There's just four clamps that hold it on, same style clamps as used on the plastic roof.

True, but... it's a little trickier if you have a L&R cab as well. You can't tighten either the windshield or the cab roof down until both are in place. They overlap in such a way that keeps water out so both have to be loose to get them together. I learned this the hard way, installed the windshield nice and tight and then realized that I couldn't get the cab roof on.
