Leo, give me a call tomorrow 619-244-4410, just NOT during the Charger game! I should have some good pics of the LED lights if you want to wait and see how big of a difference it makes.

Guys, Here's another way to catch the a%^-holes stealing stuff. Use deer camera's and the scumbags don't even know there pic's are being taken if you get the infrared ones. The motion lights are a great idea also!! If you shoot the little pricks, make sure they're DEAD!!

Re: 12 Volt RV Motion Light to help protect your camp!

Played around with these today....This is my setup

I have the POS round light for a porch light and the rear yellow over the door light I NEVER use as it's useless. Since they were out of the 9" round lights (for my main door) I opted to change out the POS yellow light that never gets used anyway.

Here it is installed (minus the lens cover) with the incandescent light

And here it is with the optional 200 lumens LED...although I didn't realize you can turn the bulb until after I took this photo.

Here's a photo (no flash) of the incandescent light (brand new, these go dimmer over time)

Here's the 200 lumens LED...running one of these is like running 10 incandescent bulbs! It's definitely a brighter light, but not the yellow light some are used to. It's a very white light.

The light is now adjusted to go off when someone walks about 20' away from it! Definitely an improvement over a light I never used! Looking forward to replacing my 9" round light

Re: 12 Volt RV Motion Light to help protect your camp!

Is an orange lens available for this light???

If it's the same size as the POS light you said you had there should be an orange lens for that. Them desert bugs can be nasty and have had them swarm white lights in the past.

If your going to swap to LEDs they draw so little current why not just leave it on??? I leave my fluorescent on but want to switch to LEDs to lesson the draw.

Re: 12 Volt RV Motion Light to help protect your camp!

They have an "amber" lens, although it looks red on their site. There's no bugs where I camp. You have the ability to leave it on all the time if that's what you want to do.

Sorry I even mentioned the deer camera.Just thought if the cops had there pic they could use it as evidence to maybe get your super high priced high speed rzr back for you. Anything that can be done to help protect our investments I thought would be a good idea.I've had equipment stollen from me and it pisses me off to no end.I just hope none of us gets our stuff stollen. It costs too much to replace and the insurance co's aren't any fun to deal with! That's my story an I'm stickin to it!!

I was just joking we sell camera's at work so I always tell the guys that install them that. They actualy told me they have software that will identify people's face.If you throw someone out of the building the camera will let you know if they reenter the building. It sounded far fetched to me but they swore by it.
