Re: Air/Water Intercooler Details Revealed

The kit is $1000 by itself. It can also be used on other kits as well. All very high quality parts like Bosch water pump, Derale radiator and fan, etc. plus it's easy to install. Just as a bolt-on there is a huge difference in throttle response compared to our already impressive kit.

As for draw from the fan I will have to find out what the exact power draw is but so far we have had no charging system issues.

Dave, am I wrong to think I should get it for the up grade price thats available with the new kits? I surely would have bought it if it were available.

Yeah the shock tower on the XTR takes up some valuable space

Well -- One could get real creative .............

The assembly doesn't have to be mounted in front -- Just find a place out of the way that gets some air -- Fan will help to cool -- Then add a Moroso Kool Can and plumb that in and pack it with dry ice ......... You'll be blowin Snow in to the Motor .. .. ..

Re: Air/Water Intercooler Details Revealed

you won't need the dry ice in Florence Dave! the air going into the intake is only 50 degrees!

Re: Air/Water Intercooler Details Revealed

That unit looks impressive. Wonder how it would impact performance with my mcx setup. It would be great if I could eliminate my air-to-air cooler.
