I do abuse my Holz skid plates because of clearance issues but I sure would hate to give up riding the narrow trails.
If you choose to give up the 50" trails and go wider, use the LSR 4" MTS or any other kit that utilizes the stock length shocks and you can use your AFCO's as is. Maybe a spring change depending on the ride height you desire.
