Hey it's thicker than the rollcage!
I'm imagining a 3-point mount that attaches to my bumper light hoops and one leg dropping down to the lower skidplate. The camera would mount at the apex. Key to this working is to use a very lightweight camera. I have a helmet cam I've used for similar projects and it weighs almost nothing.

I did a front perspective shot once using this quick & simple mount:


The footage turned out good but i like the idea of moving the camera out farther and getting the entire front in the frame.
