Have not ran the xtrs but have a set of mst's they eat up ruts,mud and rocks. they ride smooth to me.as far as tread life i only have about 100 miles on them. go to the high lifter web site go to there forum they have a direct comparison of these tires.its mst's all the way for me.hope the www highlifter com web site helps with your choice
