Its all personal prefrence. You want the DFR, buy it. You want the UMP, get it. The filter in the UMP is much bigger than the stock, but its not always the size of the filter that counts. I saved almost 200 bucks on buying the UMP. I might get 100 miles less between cleanings due to the size difference in the UMP and DFR, but they have the same media, and they both work great! Also, I have an account with Grainger Equipment and they sell the exact replacement filter for the UMP cheap and their always here in stock locally.
