yup they fail i have fixed mine 8 times before sleeving the stock ones with 1/2" sch 40 pipe. with the aftermarket extensions it will happen if you roll it, flop it on the side, or do a double flip in the air and land on the wheels. trust me i know, been there done that.

No this is not a rzr but its a ranger. The ranger and rzr run the same tie rods setup. So if your pushing your car to the limit definitely pick up a set!

Re: Upgraded steering for RZR/Ranger (((LOOK))!!
I was riding through some deep ruts and mud today, try as I might I could not climb out of them and it felt like Mighty Thor himself had grabbed hold of my steering wheel so I couldn't turn it to climb out of the ruts, regardless of if I was doing 15mph or 5mph. Maybe I could have forced it, but it felt like something might give so I didn't want to find out that far from home.
Has anybody busted their steering in this situation? It would be pretty much a disaster - where I was today, recovery would be "challenging".
