New FST intake in stock at 2Xmotorsports
FST just sent us there all new intake system for the Rzr. The kit is designed to give you more air flow and better performance by moving the filter on top of the bed. The kit comes with 3in tubing and all necessary hardware plus filter. It does require you to cut a 3in hole in your bed to fit the tubing through. If you want more out of the Rzr then this is the bolt on kit for you.
Thanks 2X

Re: New FST intake in stock at 2Xmotorsports
Is this the one that lays in the bed?
If so, what do they do about water intrusion?
I've been in the desert when it just started hammering water. We had to leave our rides in the open water for a few hours and I always wondered how much water this type of filter set-up would allow to pass without proper covering or protection.

RZRider,
yes this is the one that lays in the bed. what we have done in the past was just put a outerware over the filter. That should keep most of the water out!! This is also the same filter that FST ran in the baja 500. So if it could make it through that it could make it through anything!!
Thanks 2X

The intake simply replaces the stock air box. The 3in nickel plated tube meets up with the stock plastic tube.
Thanks 2X

Check out the intake from F2racing.net. That's the one that won the baja 500.

The FST intake filter system that was on the Rzr had FST's intake design! The intake included the canister by UMP and the siphon hose by F2 and the overall design was the FST intake with a airaid filter!!
This is a FULL RACE AIR INTAKE SYSTEM designed for offroad racing!

Re: New FST intake in stock at 2Xmotorsports
Personal opinion - I think this is the best intake / filter solution out yet for desert / Duners. I thought of doing something exactly like this. The only thing I would like them to add is a raised ring around each clamping end so that it would be harder for the rubber hoses, filter, & intake to slip off if something becomes loose. I will purchase this kit w/ outerwear before Cinders!
