I was under warranty and they have given me a new top end. however, the original problem has not been fixed

After careful research I installed the K&N Apollo. The Throttle Body Boot End was wrapped with Electrical Rubberized Tape that you stretch to initialize the stickiness or adhesion then the boot was put onto this and tightened, the rubberized tape sticks to the rubber boot also. Same was done on the K&N Filter inlet to Throttle Body Rubber Boot. It's a little difficult to get off because it does stick to the surfaces but you don't have to worry about it coming/slipping off under load...the Apollo System works great and I had Outerwears make me a prefilter for it so it is even better now...
