One problem I dont see an easy fix for is the connection where the rubber boot slips on the throttle body. I have been building a snorkel system and removed the filter housing to work on it. I placed the throttle body boot on, and tightened the clamp. I worked on some tubing and came back only to find the boot had slipped off. I put it back on and tightened the clamp. I was amazed to see the boot slowly slide right off! This is what has me concerned. I wound up wiring the boot onto the the throttle body. I have a zillion hours invested in the airbox/snorkel kit. I would not have done anything if there was not a problem.
