I got the same problem on mine. Snokels are not going to help as all kits I have seen retain the air filter box.
I guess you could snorkel before he airbox and cros your fingers that whatever filter you use at the end of the snorkels do their jobs.
I have tried to double up on the o rings on the lid and it is till not working 100%.
I might use black duct tape aroud the joint befoe everyride
