The stock tires run great. I use them for the dunes, rock climbing, or just running down the pavement... and I'm pretty hard on them. You can buy new take offs pretty cheap, which is why I have a second set waiting till I wear out the originals. I know alot of people are trying to stay away from the heavier 14" wheels and tires. Everyone seems to like the 12's better. Everyone says the 7 paddle extremes and smoothie combo is the best set-up for the dunes. That's what I'll be purchasing next season. Hope that helps.
