Yeah.. i did one of those too.. so if they don't pop using about 3 tons of force, i machine the end off. It cut the spline tooth profile into the snap ring when it popped.. it was crazy! We are also including the snap rings incase you destroy them trying to get them apart.

Hey thanks for the help all, I did buy a press and got it but trashed the clip and boy did it BANG! LOL but now I figured it out, if you pound it on farther first, then try to take it off it seems to not get stuck so bad! for what its worth....
