The skid plate is made out of 1/4" virgin plastic, it is suppose to handle the cold without cracking. The tires are 29.5"outlaws, they seem to work great in the deep snow I will have to give them a try in the muskeg, I am not sure I will have enuff power......lol......although low range is awesome on this unit.I could post a step by step on how I built the skid plate as well as the rear window if anyone is interested. The skid plate took one full 4x8' sheet, I only had to trim the sides.
