My wife got a face full of mud with the stockers on I don't know that there is really a difference between the two. Any tire-wheel combo will throw mud if you are turning one direction or another. I would have to guess that the crushers would throw mud a little worse because of them being a little wider but it has not been an issue with me. I just drive a little slower when I first come out of a mud hole or creek to keep from throwing water or mud on whomever is on the outside of a turn.
