i have the polaris 3500# winch and it also only came with the wired remote i went to a local shop where they sell boat accesory and got a 20 or 25 amp spring loaded rocker switch and just t-ed it in to the control wires and mounted it on the dash and i mounted the remote plug under the hood just in case i eve needed to use the winch and not be in the seat but so far the switch has been all i needed and it works great. you can get a regular two way rocker switch but i wanted one that was weather tight so i went to the boat shop hope this helps -bone-
